Toys and Games Reviews of LeapFrog Phonics Writing DeskCustomer Review: Very Helpful For learning to write Summary: 4 Stars
I bought this for my 3 1/2 year old as she has learned to write most of the letters in upper case. This toy helps her learn to write lower case and even start writing short words with phonics. The toy is very helpful because it shows the child exactly how to write the letter and then lets them try. It also has an erase button that actually erases the whole screen, not like some that leave the screen darker. Highly recommened!
Customer Review: Good concept but could be made better Summary: 2 Stars
The concept of this toy is a great idea for children not only learning their letters, but also learning to write their letters. However we were disappointed because this toy broke twice! Finally had to throw it out. The slider to clear the written letters broke first but my husband was able to fix it. Eventually, the whole slider broke again and the writing of letters was useless. Then the letters start not to work.
Customer Review: Great Handwriting Tool Summary: 4 Stars
My 4 year old daughter has really benefited from this toy. It's dramatically helped her handwriting. The lower case and upper case function is great. It shows her how to correctly write letters, and she gets a sense of accomplishment when the one she writes looks like the example. It has a friendly and encourging voice. I'd definitely recommend this toy to anyone wanting help with letter recognition and writing.
Customer Review: Excellent Learning Toy Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this for our three year old granddaughter for Christmas. It is so exciting to see her follow the commands as it shows her letters and then she writes them. She has improved in writing her letters tremendously and she is having so much fun doing it. The writing desk has many activities for her to learn from. She will usually pick the phonics writing desk before playing with her other toys.
Customer Review: Very pleased with this toy!!! Summary: 5 Stars
This was a birthday present for my 3 year old. He absolutely loves this. He can write letters and read 3 letter words. He is now 4 years old and still loves playing with this. He is mastering his letter writing. I wish that it had more room to write more than just 3 letter words. But, kids need to start small!!! We definitely recommend this toy!!!! I plan to pass it down to my younger son!!!!
