Customer Review: The BEST learning toy for preschoolers through 2nd Grade

My father bought this toy for my four year old son's birthday. It is the best toy I've seen out there for teaching children their ABC's and to read 3 letter words and write them. It has several levels of learning fun and the kids love it! I love it too because it also encourages children to make up their own words and won't pronounce words that may sound inappropriate. When they designed this toy, they thought of EVERYTHING! I Highly recommend it!!Customer Review: Fun but turns off too quickly

This toy was an enjoyable gift for my daughter who is currently engrossed in learning to write her letters and spell anyhow and likes toys with buttons in general. My only complaints are that the toy often turns itself off before she has a chance to complete writing her word-it does not really provide enough time for a beginning writer to complete this task. Also it talks to her non-stop while she is working on it which she finds annoying.Customer Review: Great Learning Toy

This toy is great! My son at the age of 19 months learned all of his letters with this toy. I was beginning to teach him the letters, but I had only gotten as far as the letter "B". Within a couple of days of him playing with it, he knew them all! I have now pulled the toy out of his closet for my 19month old daughter. I'm positive she will learn just as quickly as he did. This is a great toy to teach your toddler/preschooler their letters.Customer Review: great toy

My 2 year-old LOVES this toy! He's too young to write the letters, but he is learning to spell and knows the alphabet VERY well and I think this toy is part of the reason. I find it pretty loud and the repetitive phrases are annoying, but I think that it's because he plays with it so much. I would not have expected him to love this toy so much at this age, but he has really enjoyed all of his Leap Frog toys, so I'm sold on them!Customer Review: Great learning tool but not writing area not durable

This is a wonderful learning tool and I had no problem except that it is not durable. The part where the child does the actual writing was susceptable to turning black where the child pressed too hard. Now ours is ruined in that area. It's like the magnets or whatever it is that makes the print have all concentrated and will no longer erase. If you buy it make sure you supervise your child's use so that it doesn't get damaged.
