Toys and Games Reviews of Dog-OpolyCustomer Review: fun game, everyone loves it!! Summary: 5 Stars
this game is fun for the whole family. i really like playing it a lot. the dog choices are chiuaua, yorkie, beagle, dashound, boston terrier, basset hound, siberian husky, bull dog, poodle, dalmation, boxer, lab, collie, golden retriever, german shepard, doberman, greyhound, mastiff, akita, st. bernard, great dane and rottweiler. some of the major dog breeds weren't on there, and i was very sad that they included an akita over a springer spaniel. :( it is a very fun game and it is fun to play for fun and trying to knock ppl out as fast as u can without being nice. i really like it, and it is more fun than regular monopoly. if u like dogs or games involving money, this game is for you. u have to do math and it teaches u about dog breeds, so it is educational. if u have a kid that is from about 9 to adult, u should get this for their birthday. u will want to play it every night!
Customer Review: Wow More monopoly! Summary: 1 Stars
Just what the world needs, another clone of the worst board game ever to sell like hotcakes.
I can not think of any reason to recommend this game. The winner is determined by luck, there is no skill involved in winning this or any game of monopoly. The game hardly fits into a single evening of play, and for a few unlucky players who exit early that means either sitting around watching or finding something else to do (This may be a blessing if it means not playing anymore).
So to anyone who is buying this to play it (not because you are a huge dog fan and must own everything that has a dog on it) I recommend that you look into a better product.
I would start by going to Google and searching on "board game". Follow the 1st link you find.
Customer Review: A Perfect Take on Monopoly! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this game for my friend who has never owned a board game but enjoys playing them and loves dogs. He was thrilled to open it and thought the cover of the game was incredibly cute. But more importantly, the game play is just as fun. It can be played just like Monopoly, except there's dogs instead of properties. As we were playing, my friend continually kept saying Cool! when he discovered something new about the game. For example, there's facts about the dogs on the back of each card; Good Dog and Bad Dog replace Chance and Community Chest and there's cards like "Move any other player's token back three spaces." and Go Fetch replaces the simple Go card. Late for the Sky Productions thought of everything when they created this game and it really is a gem of a find.
Customer Review: Good Stuff and Great Fun Summary: 5 Stars
I have not played the Dog Monopoly only this product Dogopoly, and I enjoyed it. My sister plays it with all her friends and they play it a lot surprisingly. It has the same features as Monopoly except instead of property it's dogs. I think the dogs make it more fun. Also my sister will trade me a good property for a lousy one just because she likes the dog better. Some how she still wins. I enjoy the playing pieces, they are good quality. This game is some what hard to find, and Amazon is the cheapest place I know to find it.
Customer Review: Dog lovers fun Summary: 5 Stars
My son got a dog for Christmas along with Dogopoly. We both are animal lovers and enjoyed this doggie version of Monopoly. My son especially got a kick out of the name twist on Free Barking. My only complaint is that they don't provide enough $[...] bills. We played a marathon game in which we amassed lots of money and were constantly having to turn in our $[...] for different denominations of bills. Other than that, lots of fun buying doghouses and big bones!
