Customer Review: Lego's Are THE Best Toys.

I am the father of twin 11 year old boys and I have been purchasing Legos for them since they were about 3 or 4. My boys get along very well and share the building responsibilities. To this day I have never had to help them build a set and they have built every set they have ever received. I have always been impressed with how well diagramed the sets were and when my boys got started with Legos they could build them even though they didn't know how to read. I am not sure how much the twin thing helped since they each had someone to share the building excitement with and create adventures. There was also the added bonus of having 2 different perspectives to figure out some of the tougher builds.
The Café' Corner was on their list for some time and was a big hit this Christmas along with the Green Grocer and Market streets. The details are incredible and well worth the purchase.
Legos require patience and if started early enough, perhaps help develop patience, I'm not sure. I have been very pleased with the quality of the pieces and how well they stay together as well as the wonderful imagination that went into creating each model.
Legos have come along way since I was a kid and this is the toy that my boys will keep into their adult lives and pass on to their kids.
Additionally, Lego has produced a number of wonderful PC games that were both entertaining and also helped give them ideas for actual role playing with the real sets.

After getting the amazing complementary set, the Green Grocer, I immediately sought the Cafe Corner out and I sure am glad I did. The price at Amazon plus free shipping, is a great deal, compared to some of the ridiculous prices Lego speciality shops are asking for, given the exclusivity of the set.
With over a 1000 pieces, the build is especially satisfying, much like laying the bricks and features of an actual building. In comparison to the Green Grocer, the Cafe Corner lacks an interior, which serves as an exciting side project planning for one. The ace of this set is definitely the design of the architecture and is amazing when displayed.
I believe that these sets will go down in Lego and the Lego collector's history as two of most sought-after building sets. So get them while it's still available. You'll kick yourself for not doing so.

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this Lego set. The beauty of the finished product, the sturdy construction, the far beyond clever use of standard parts to achieve amazing realism (the awnings, the 45 degree angled door, etc). I have been building Lego since before the mini-figure was created, and I have to say that many recent sets offer little substance in favor of tall, flimsy structures that give the appearance of volume. This set is the opposite! Everything is solid, detailed, and built with real bricks you can actually re-use! My hat is off to the designer of this set, it is just a thing of beauty and a joy to build. Keep 'em coming!Customer Review: Great Family Fun

I bought this for my husband but my son who is age 6 and a HUGE Lego fanatic was even more excited about it. The whole family was able to work on it together over the course of a few days. It provided great family fun time that everyone could enjoy. Now the argument is whether to put in on a shelf to keep it safe or get it down to play with it. My husband and I have discovered a whole new appreciation for Legos in general through the eyes of our children. Our children (ages 10, 12, & 13) received the Lego Make & Create Cafe Corner Christmas morning. By the time we left for relatives at noon, they had partially constructed it and loaded it into boxes for transport. When we arrived at the relatives 3 hours later, they resumed construction. Building off and on, they had it completed by bedtime and had a blast doing it. Wonderful project that our daughters and son enjoyed building together!
