I got this for my 7-year-old son for Christmas. He was very excited and started putting it together right away. His excitement faded when he had some trouble putting it together. With some adult help he got it built and hasn't taken it apart. He loves it! He flys it around the house and makes it interact with his other Staw Wars Lego sets. The wings move to reconfigure into different positions. And the moveable cockpit is very cool. He said next time he tries to build it it will be easier because he has seen the end result.Customer Review: Fast shipping and a great seller

My son, a twelve year old LEGO fanatic, loves the V-19 Torrent and other Star Wars LEGO products in general. He loves the higher degree of detail and greater assembly difficulty, as he's very engineering design oriented. After the initial push to assemble and use the original design, he deconstructs the toy and uses all the unique parts in his own designs.
This particular design, the V-19 Torrent, is really pretty cool. I highly recommend it for those that have LEGO building experience and appreciate the extra skill required to build it.

As we move to more complicated lego sets they are truly a labor of love. To be fair our son is six - so a bit younger than recommended age. We found the set was missing some pieces - thus a bit of McGeyering was in order. Get zen - relax and get building.

My son and I really enjoyed putting this aircraft together. I think I had as much if not more enjoyment than my son. It really made him think and learn to follow directions and look at the maps.
