Customer Review: Fun to assemble, but isn't sure-footed and armor pieces fall off

The good:
This toy is fun to assemble and comes well documented for assembly.
Lego is also good about replacing any missing pieces free of charge.
The bad:
Tends to fall over when walking sending pieces flying and requiring reassembly. This makes the motorized portion fairly useless.
Would not recommend.

I got for christmas 2009 and had a little trouble finding some of the pieces turns out the were in my pocket HA-HA HA-HA .Very fun build and very funto watch it walk around but for some reson Luke wouldn't stay attactched to the rope that you see him haging from on the box and in the movie.Customer Review: Great fun

My 12 year old son thought the AT-AT was reasonably challenging to set up, but it was worth it. The walking is very wobbly and it seems to almost topple, but keeps itself upright. Walks best on carpet. Is delicate though which is why I rated it low on durability.Customer Review: A lot of fun!

I bought this toy for my son's 13th birthday. He absolutely loves it! The carrying handle on it is a great feature for portability. Some of the pieces on the top come off easily if nudged but overall it is great.Customer Review: May the force be with you!

Wow! Over a thousand pieces! fun but challenging to build. It does walk...sort of...be sure to be around to catch it before it falls over. Still a very cool Must Have for the Star Wars Fan. Great job Lego!
