Customer Review: Frustrating: On behalf of my son.

My son, who usually loves Lego Star Wars, wanted me to write this on his behalf after becoming frustrated with this kit:
"I had a forty-dollar gift card and spent it on this toy. I love other Star Wars Lego sets, but this one was different. It kept on falling apart! So, it took like 7 hours just to put it together! That's because each wing is held together by only 2 pieces. I had to add extra pieces just to keep it from falling apart as I built it.
But I have to say it looks really cool. And I have tried to play with it but the rocket compartment keeps on falling out.
If you build this, don't expect to play with it, just say it is a decoration."

I got this for my son who just turned 8. He put it together in a few hours and had the same problems others are talking about; mainly the wing felt off and he couldn't fix it. So after watching him struggled for a few times, I decided to take the whole thing apart and walked through with him. I think the main problem was his fingers aren't strong enough, and he might have done one or two steps incorrect, but we spent two hours and put the whole thing together and it's solid and sturdy. He's been having tons of fun playing with it, carrying it all around, and so far nothing fall apart yet.Customer Review: worst lego set ever!

This lego set kept falling apart the whole time my son and I were trying to put it together. We had to use other lego pieces from old sets to try to reinforce a very inferior design. We eventually got it together after many fits of rage from my son. It looks really cool, but we are afraid to even touch it for fear it will all crumble again. If your child likes to actually play with the sets once they are built DO NOT BUY THIS SET! It was educational as to how not to design something and that maybe LEGO needs to test their designs better before selling them to the public.Customer Review: SOLID MODEL!

Just an excellent lego model. Very sturdy and solid in it's construction (pieces don't easily come off). Well thought out. More lego models should be like this for playability.
PRO's-Solid construction, nicely designed, sliding cockpit canopy, two hidden storage areas for MagnaGuards weapons, two hidden flick-fire missiles, and 2 MagnaGuard mini-figures with sculpted heads and unique capes.
Con's-Wish it had another area to hold the second Magna-Guard mini-figure.
Overall, just a solid fun build kit. Recommended.

I am not sure what the other reviewers are doing wrong but I got this for Christmas, put it together right away and I had no problems at all with it falling apart. I saw this when it was one of the gold box deals and didn't think I would like it but now that I have it, it's awesome. The two Magna Droids that come with it are pretty cool. The way the cockpit opens is pretty neat and it has enough weapons to destroy any Arc Fighter it sees. And again, ignore those reviews about it falling apart..I just tried to pull the wings off and it didn't come apart.
