Toys and Games Reviews of LEGO Make & Create Eiffel Tower 1:300Customer Review: This project wins on every level. Summary: 5 Stars
3' tall is large for a Lego piece. It was taller than 2 of my kids. 8 hours of building according to the excellent directions. Lots of fun - you learn building techniques, architecture, have fun with building, and at the end you have a lot of very usable pieces for other creations. Truth be told, some of the pieces I have not used again, but that's to be expected, I think. Nothing as specialized as you'd get in many of the space sets, I just haven't built many buildings on this same scale since. Excellent investment.
Customer Review: Get the glue out!!! Summary: 4 Stars
This was a fun thing to put together for my son's social studies project. There are over 10,000 pieces which we separated into tupperware bowls with lids. Be careful not to lose any pieces because it can compromise the entire structure. When transporting the tower from one place to another, put a solid piece of wood under the base. The middle and top parts are separate and can easily be moved. It can fall apart with a good bump, so you might want to considering gluing the pieces.
Customer Review: My 9 year old son is loving this product!!! Summary: 5 Stars
My nine year old son is loving this Lego kit!! He dug into it immediately!! He loves to build Lego creations and is quite creative with Lego's. When he asked for this product and I mentioned it is recommended for sixteen year olds and older, he still wanted it. He is about 1/3 of the way through it already and knows he can complete it!!! Great gift for him!!!!
Customer Review: Spectacular model Summary: 5 Stars
This is a spectacular model. I agree with the other reviewer, I wish they made more monument kits. It needs a little patience to build (3000 parts), and an attention to detail, but the experience and the results are great. Since this tower was originally built of stock railroad-bridge materials, there are some really cool alternatives to build out of this kit.
Customer Review: Parisian Lego Wonder Summary: 5 Stars
After visiting Paris it was fun to put this together. It takes forever, but is fun to do. The pieces all look the same, so I reccomend sorting them all by size and shape in small containers. There are many of the same pieces in different bags, and if you have not sorted them out, it can drive you insane looking for the last small gray Lego of a particular shape.
