My son is 11 and received this kit for his birthday. He had recently "discovered" the Indiana Jones movie series and wanted to collect the related LEGOs kits. It was fairly easy for him to put together, but he really enjoys that it mirrors the movie so well and pieces move - statues topple, snakes fall down, etc. He's taken it apart and put it back together several times, and he's even used other LEGOs pieces to enhance the scene. Perfect toy for a 7-going-on-8-year-old kid. His eyes lit up the moment he opened the wrapping on Christmas, and within 6 hours (he spent a bit of the time opening othe presents and having dinner), it was all put together and he was using his imagination to make the set come alive for him. Lego's teach patience and following directions. My grandson, at 5 1/2, has conquered sets past the age recommended on the package. It gives us time together, working quietly and talking about "Lego's and Life" while watching him get the satisfaction that he actually built the toy he gets to play with. We also glue many of the parts to make them more durable in his play scenarios.Customer Review: It's OK but I was dissappointed in how flimsy it all seemed when I took it out of the box.

I'm sure it'll be fine but I bought it for my grandson as a Christmas gift to go along with the Indiana Jones video series DVD set. It just looked flimsy when he opened it. Very lightweight box with the pieces just rattling around in it. It just is what it is. There is no real problem with the order or the sender by any means. It just looked better on screen than in reality.Customer Review: My son had a blast

My 7 year old son has LOVED this product. He has not been a Lego fan in the past. He chose this at the store when he got some money saved up. I thought it would end up laying around the house, but I was wrong! He has had a blast with this set. He put it together himself without any problem or help. And he has really enjoyed playing with it since it has been assembled.
