This was a gift for my 13 year old son who is fascinated with dragons. He absolutely loved it and spent literally hours putting together the dragon by following the directions precisely. Once he finished, he decided he could change things around to make it even better (as far as he was concerned anyway)! This is the only lego set he has had that he keeps all the pieces too in a plastic box to make sure he doesn't misplace any of them. Well worth the money!

This deluxe mythical creature set includes 588 pieces and many specialty pieces, including a light-up brick. Box size:Gliding overhead on a wingspan more than two feet wide, this incredible dragon will undoubtedly cast fear (and a very large shadow) into little Legoland hearts below. Mythological creatures always loom larger than life, and Lego doesn't disappoint. From beating wings to snapping jaws and thrashing tails, each creature has exciting details and articulated joints to help bring it to life. There's even a special light-up brick that simulates a dragon's fierce and fiery breath.
