I loved Lego's as a kid, and today, it's nice to see that Lego hasn't abandoned it's 'town' or 'city' series and is still coming up with creative new designs, toys and pieces. Only Playmobile, IMO, comes close to capturing the full spectrum of life that lego manages to, and it's a very distant second place because with Lego, you're always forced to use more of your imagination. With the way the company's changed so much over the years, no more than ever you can build just about anything - you can create as far as your imagination lets you.
This is a nice, smaller set with two mini-figures and some neat little pieces, including a surfboard, bicycle and other items including TV, skillet, grill, etc. The camper itself opens up as well, adn it even has a little ladder on to lead to the roof. For kids (or adults alike... who else does those extravagant neat sets?), this is an awesome, awesome lego set that fits into any Lego town/city environment.
I recommend it. The creativity is there and rebuild opportunities are also there. This set reminded me a little of another 1980's lego set, with a car and camper-trailer, and this one pays excellent hommage to it by having some similarities but enough differences to show you how much further Lego has grown. And it's at a reasonable price - so don't overpay for it, just look around in the stores.
