Customer Review: Not exactly Christmas oriented...but fun.

My ten year old son didn't care that this had nothing to do with Christmas except the counting down of days. One of the lego toys is a cat up a tree. But he really liked it anyway. We're on day 19, and it's a public worker with his orange vest. But each new person is followed by equipment for that exact person. Like the fireman was followed by the cat up the tree followed by a latter to get the cat down. So it was fun to find out what each character was going to receive.Customer Review: 24 days of fun!

Who doesn't love an advent calendar? Filling it with Legos just makes it extra awesome. As a toy connoisseur, I think this is an innovative and fun holiday treat. The con I can think of is that the pieces weren't necessarily holiday themed. It would have been cool to have a little holiday themed winter scene at the end, but the city people and pieces were still fun to open. My son has always loved the Lego Advent Calendar. When I thought he was getting too old to enjoy this, he asked for a Lego set that was discontinued when he was seven and apparently Lego began making it again. He was so excited to get it for Christmas, and without fail, he opened each day's advent on the calendar. I was also thrilled the calendar arrived much sooner than anticipated. I did get this for my 5 year old nephew.. It was a great buy!! my sister said that her son could stop playing with the calendar, couldn't wait till next day to open the next window.. Every window has a toy, but you have to put togeter so it make even more fun... I will definetlley buy this calendar for my little one when she will be old enough to put together.. So much fun.. I purchased this for my daughter, but I have to admit that I look forward each day to opening up the new Lego surprise as much as she does. The days are grouped in themes with successive days toys working with each other. I don't think I will ever go back to any other kind of Advent Calendar. Even though it was the previous years calendar and a little more pricey, I was not disappointed.
