Zaktan is the leader of the Piraka. It was from an unknown source that Zaktan learned of a legendary Mask of Life that is on Voya Nui, the floating island. The six Piraka wash up on the shores of Voya Nui and immediately pose as Toa to the Matoran of the island who happen to have never seen a Toa before. The Matoran believe they are Toa and have come to rescue them, but quickly they learn the truth! Matoran are dyeing and others turned into slaves of the Piraka. Soon the Piraka ditch the Toa lie and go right to business. And, perhaps all would be lost if it weren't for the Toa Nuva (Tahu, Gali, Lewa, Onua, Pohatu and Kopaka) show up and battle these evil rogue dark hunters.
Zaktan is the cruel leader of the Piraka. He was inflicted by something that caused all his cells to turn into Protodites (Microscoic flying creatures), each one containing his conciousness. He has the ability to break apart any part of his body and turn it into a swarm to attack his enemies! His body is always rippling because of his state, and when he speaks, it sounds like multiple voices speaking at once.
With his three pronged blade and Zamor launcher, no one can stand in his way. He has fought off countless Piraka rebellions, for they all plan to destroy eachother for the mask. Zaktan believes that they should work together to find the mask, and then see who is the strongest, but the others believe in killing off the competition beforehand.
In the set, Zaktan's teeth glow in the dark and his eyes light up to signify his vision power (Laser Vision). He has awesome gold armor and weapons. A rubbery face ans spine give him a sinister pose. And do keep in mind, that every BIONICLE set is a construction set. So, you can take apart the sets and rebuild them however you want! Mix parts from any BIONICLE set in history and you can make countless creations! Creations are only limited by your mind.
Fun for all ages! Even, I, a mature BIONICLE fan love these new villains from LEGO. These would make a perfect Christmas or Birthday present to any BIONICLE fan!
