Toys and Games Reviews of Window Art Activity BookCustomer Review: rewarding and fun Summary: 5 Stars
My daughters are 8 and 10 and they have thoroughly enjoyed the Christmas version of Window Art. You simply place the provided clear plastic sleeve over one of their adorable designs. Then trace the design with the paint the kit provides which comes in small, easy to hold bottles with narrow tips for drawing finer lines. Fill in the designs with any of the six bright colors. Then let it dry for 24 hours and it's well worth the wait. Peel the design off the plastic sleeve(they peel off easily) and place on a window(they cling perfectly and can be removed and replaced). Our windows are covered in cute and impressive little figures and designs. I'm impessed with the ease and results.
Customer Review: Great creative play Summary: 5 Stars
I recently let my 3 and 5 year-old daughters use their Klutz Window Art during a play date with their 6 year-old friend. Although they did not perfectly stay within the lines, they all thoroughly enjoyed creating their window art and hanging them up later. Even my 3 year-old enjoyed the activity, and her attention span is average for her age. She sat the whole time completing her picture. The projects are good for eye - hand coordination. The best part is their ability to see the fruits of their labor on the window of our slider, and boast to family about their creations.
Customer Review: Best craft project Summary: 5 Stars
My 6 year old son received this kit for Christmas and he loves it. He has already completed the dinosaur page for his room and a hummingbird, frog and butterfly for his sister's room. We discovered that is is much easier to color in the designs if you let the black outline dry overnight. My son is very artistic and loves to change the designs using his own creative instincts. He loves to create his own window art too. He is now saving his money for the refill kit.
Customer Review: GREAT CRAFT FOR ALL AGES OVER 7 Summary: 5 Stars
This is a great craft with minimum set up or clean up. My son has made many of these window clings and I enjoy making them, too. We have given the set as a gift and kids love them! The paint tubes are small and if you do many of these, you will want to order the refill paints. Once kids get the hang of it, they use much less paint but to start with, most over do it. There is also a Christmas version of this book which is a nice addition if you enjoy this craft.
Customer Review: Very cool Summary: 5 Stars
I got this for my 7 year old daughter. I think I like it just as much as she does! It's so much fun. We have made fish to go on our bathroom mirror and leaves to put on the windows in the fall, and all sorts of other things. They come off easily when you are done with them. They are a little messy - my daughter kept forgetting not to use too much paint at first, but she got the hang of it. We liked it so much, we bought the refill kit.
