OK, so I've only had it for a month, but I think its great! My 17-month-old can sit on the chairs (and loves to) but her feet don't tougch the ground. This IS a great set for her, as she was hungering to sit like a "grown up"; she just loves exploring a chair that is sized for her. I think it will be even better for her when she's two and has a longer attention span to sit for a while and color and play with blocks. I had a 4-year-old over recently and she fits just fine, so I think this set will be useful until five or so.
It went together easily: about half and hour and the tool is provided with the set. Seems sturdy: solid wood and no creaking when we sit in it (180 pound husband). Seems high quality: no paint chipping and washable crayon wipe right off.
So far I would recommend this set: looks beautiful and really would fit it a mixed-gender playspace as it has a green and blur chair.
Very happy with this purchase!

My parents got this for my daughter for her birthday and she has really enjoyed it. She uses it daily. It did take me quite a bit of time to put together, but when she saw it on her birthday she loved it. Most of the hardware is the color of the chairs so it blends in! She colors there, eats there sometimes, read's there, works on puzzles there, plays with her doll house there almost everything there! The paint has started to chip on some of the chairs, but what do you expect when a 2 year old knocks the chairs over or hit's them into each other? She has gotten crayon all over the top of the table and I just take a little spray and it wipes off clean every time. If I had to do all over I would ask my parent's to get her this set again. I had been looking for a table for my son for a long time before I decided to buy this one. It is made well and is about the right size for my almost two year old. He will definetly get quite a few years out of it.
It was also very easy to put together once you figured out the instructions. There are no written instructions, but instead pictorial instructions that overlap and seem a littled crowded. However, it was all worth it. When my son got home, he looked at it and then made a bee line to it. My chair is the blue one and his is the natural colored one. We have lunch at it everyday.
Good value for the price.

The wife and I were searching for a table about his size for a long time and when she came across this one on Amazon, we were very happy because the price was right. We looked into folding tables and found the price to be just a few dollars more for the wooden one. When it arrived, it was very easy to put together. My kid loves it and I would recommend this to anyone looking to find a set of 4 chairs and table made of actual wood.
Very easy to lift and move when needed. Great purchase, I am very content with it.

I was hesitant to buy this table and chair set because of the negative reviews about the product. But, in the end I decided that the price was just too good to pass up! The table and chairs are great!!! I don't know how the other people treat their belongings but, things here is my house get A LOT of use...and this little set appears as if it's going to stand the test of time. If you want to waste your money on a table and chair set that is five times the price and the same thing...by all means do it.
