Customer Review: Fun but construction is a joke!
Summary: 3 Stars

Purchased this for our 25lb 3 yr-old despite the many reviews that it breaks easily. My hope was that my light-weight wouldn't cause too much wear on the bungee cord. It wasn't extremely hard to assemble but the directions are a bit vague. It takes concentration to ensure correct cord threading. My issue is two-fold: 1/ The green jumping mat is much smaller than the space it fits making it hard to adjust evenly. We ended up with a wider space at the bottom and so wide that the cord shows after the cover is on and you can see the floor. It shouldn't be a problem as long as my son's feet don't slip and fall through. 2/ The sensor for the games (I bought this model for the games) is a 3-way cord that connects under the mat to each leg. The sensor itself is a hook that connects to the front leg and when the tramp is jumped on, the cord underneath is supposed to be hit, which in turns pull the sensor hook out of it's base sounding the electronics. Well, it's not close enough to the mat to hit, especially for light-weights. I could barely hit it bouncing my foot on top and when I did, it was inconsistent. Also, the sensor and the cord loses slack when jumped on making it even harder to hit.

O well, I hope my son likes it. He has low muscle tone so my goal was to provide him with something to help him build strength and balance. I probably would have went with a conventional rebounder of better quality after actually seeing this one but I'm not going to bother disassembling it to ship back now. My son probably won't realize what it's supposed to do anyway but it's still disappointing.

Good luck!

Customer Review: love this toy
Summary: 4 Stars

I bought this for my toddlers last Christmas, and they are still fighting over it! In my house, where children get bored and move on easily, this is a good thing. The package that it came in was damaged, and it looked like it had been opened before.... even though I bought "new". My husband and I had a heck of a time putting it together, but that was after eggnog. When we finally got it together, we had a hard time fitting it through the doorway. It fits, but you have to turn it on it's side. It's a good thing that you can fit it through the door this way because I wouldn't take this thing apart and put it back together for a million dollars.
The toy is VERY sturdy, and after being tested by two of the rowdiest toddlers I know, I am convinced that it's impossible to tip it over.
The children love the music that it plays and the counting game has reinforced counting skills.
I do not like the green foam on the handles. It is way too tempting for a teething toddler. There are bite holes in the foam on our toy, but I plan to cover it with duct tape. Lets see them try to bite through THAT!
I also do not like the fact that the kids can turn the volume up ALL THE WAY. It is very loud, so I remove the batteries if I have a migraine!
Overall, I would recommend this toy to anyone who needs to wear their kids out on a rainy day. This has been a lifesaver during cold/rainy weather. I am so glad I bought it!

Customer Review: A pain to put together but overall awesome!
Summary: 5 Stars

I just purchased this trampoline for my 6 year old, although all three of my children (from 2-7) have thoroughly enjoyed jumping on it. I can't seem to get my 2 year old off of it. I know they do not recommend it for that young of an age but with supervision, they do just fine. They love the "count your jumps" game and try to get a higher number each time. It appears very sturdy although I wouldn't recommend high jumping because it does lift off the ground if they go too high.

The only major issue is the process of assembly. I did not have any help when putting it together and although I was able to do it myself, it was VERY frustrating and took forever. There is directions but they are kinda confusing and take looking at them very closely. I would recommend taking their suggestion and getting somemone to help assemble it. Threading the bungee to hold the mat on, was extremely difficult by myself. I am getting a little nervous now that I read the reviews about the bungee breaking but I guess that's the chance you take. I did notice as I was trying to adjust the mat that the bungee was already beginning to fray slightly due to the grommets being too sharp around the edges. I would suggest keeping the company contact info handy.

Overall this is a sturdy and very fun trampoline for little kids and a good way to burn all thay pent up winter energy. I would recommend this to a friend.

Customer Review: Super fun!
Summary: 5 Stars

We bought this as a Christmas gift for our almost 2-year old daughter (only child) - paid ~$90 (including tax & shipping). She absolutely loves it and it's easy for her to climb on and off herself. Has buttons on the handle bar area that are interactive with the jumping (ie, counts and plays songs/noises) via a sensor under the jumping surface.

It takes up a good amount of space (a min 4-ft x 4-ft area) and is somewhat cumbersome to move around. Assembly is time-consuming (1-2 hrs), but has very good and straight forward instructions - attaching the jumping surface (via one bungee type cord wound around frame) was the most difficult part of assembly and requires 2-adults (only at very end), as the bungee cord is EXTREMELY taught.

Also, we built this in the basement a few days before Christmas and found out Christmas Eve that it was too big for our walled stairway (completely our fault for not thinking ahead) - a fairly "easy" fix was removing 2 of the 3 screws/bolts so the handle-bar assembly folded in just enough to fit up the stairs. Handle-bar assembly is an integral part of the frame (ie, jumping surface cannot be assembled without the handle-bars).

If you have the space, this is a great toy - can be an excellent outlet for built-up energy and will grow with them for quite a few years.

Customer Review: Great fun... until it broke... TWICE.... IN A YEAR!!!
Summary: 2 Stars

My son just turned 3 and this piece of junk broke last night for the 2nd time in a year. He loves to jump on it, for long stretches of time several times a day. Probably addicted, however... When the bungee cord broke the first time, I tried and tried to get in touch with the manufacturer to no availe. Finally after searching the internet and calling several trampoline parts and supply companies, I found a Houston-based company that carried the cord for $20 with shipping. Figuring it would be cheaper than buying a new trampoline I paid it. A few months later, almost a year to the day of setting it up brand new - here we are again. I should mention my son is just under 40 pounds - HALF of the weight limit it declares. I'm chunking it this time. Going with an exercise trampoline of some sort. Something with springs, not a bungee cord that's gonna break every few months. Not that it mattered to us all that much either, but we removed the batteries shortly after setup - talk about LOUD! But like I said, that never mattered much just used it for jumping.

I gave it 2 stars overall just for the pure fact that my son LOVED it... it's not worth it though... durability is crap and we never used it educationally due to its noise level. Don't waste your money here... go for something that will last!!
