Customer Review: Complete piece of trash

My sister bought this item for my 2 year old sons birthday. The 1st thing I was surprised about was that it required a 9 volt battery for the control....about 4x the battery power of his other toys.
Cool, I thought. This thing must have a 50' range.
Next I tried to install the batteries in the car. 6 tiny screws later, I finally peel the stiff rubber "cover" off this clunky looking frame. The battery inserts are covered by a plastic subframe. I can't get the frame off. I pry and bend it, unlatching the obvious snap points. I finally pry the batteries in and am introduced to the next absurdity. The police cover will not slip back over the frame. I struggle for about 20 minutes and finally think I got it.
Thinking this had better be worth it, I notice the control has "forward" and "turn". Nice. I guess reverse was a little beyond my "first rc". SO I press go. THe car clicks, and grinds and lurches about 2 inches. After further inspection, the plastic cover is just barely touching the wheels. After another 10 minutes, I realize there is not a chance I am going to get this thing back together.
In hindsight, I should have pried the frame off (???) maybe...but it wouldn't pry off even after I peeled the cover back. So the conclusion:
Impossible to insert batteries.
Mission Impossible to re-assemble after you jamb batteries into it
Super Retarded controls (forward, turn) ???
9 volt remote....for a 2 year olds toy...??? Yeah, right.
I packed it up and told my sister we got a lemon.
Save yourself 30 minutes of frustration. Don't every buy this.
