We bought this for christmas last year when my daughter was 18 months. She loved it then. It was too cute to see her walking around like a little grown-up, purse on her arm, phone on her ear, car keys in hand, with sunglasses on. Nearly a year later, while many christmas toys have been relegated to the bottom of the toy box, this one is still something that gets pulled out and played with everyday. This was a great buy, and seeing as how my daughter still loves this, I'd say it was well worth the money! The "education value" may be very little as far as it's not teaching her her ABC's and 123's but the very fact that this toy makes children use their imaginations is so important. Not many toys on the market allow children to do that these days and it's nice to see a toy that allows this AND that children still enjoy.
