My kids (ages 7 and 3) both enjoy playing with the bristle blocks. I think it's more fun with more than one child to play with - I did notice when my oldest is at school, my younger child is not as apt to play with the set, but if friends come over to play, it's a blast. Lots of creative fun and the kids enjoy showing me their latest designs. The kids seem to really enjoy the "people" and farm animals included with the set as well.
Plus the set comes in its own durable storage box, which is great for keeping everything neat and organized.
I would recommend this set to others.

In this day and age, we pay high prices for toys and most of the time our kids put them down in a few days or play with the box. These bristle blocks are still played with a year or so later. They have been tosses around, stepped on (ouch) and even chewed on. they are still going strong. They snap together just like knew. the kids love them and so do the neighbor kids and the box really does fit them all in it with out being nice and neat. I belive they are worth the money for the educational value and the quality.Customer Review: Great fun but 300 pieces is misleading!

Bought this for our almost 4 year old son. He plays with them at the day-care and enjoys it, so we got him a set at home.
This set actually contains 228 pieces without the 24 wheels. If you count the 3 pieces that make up each of the 24 wheels, you get 72 pieces, which then adds up to 300 pieces. It's very mis-leading.
There's also a 113 piece set which we were initially going to get. If you are considering the 113 piece set, you can get them cheaper [...]

We bought this toy first for our son when he was 2 years old. We all had fun playing with Bristle Blocks. Our son was still too young for LEGOs. He is now 32 years old, and I purchased Bristle Blocks (300 piece set) for his daughter's 2nd birthday. She loves playing with them and so does her 3 and a half year old brother. Excellent product!! My children have enjoyed them when they were growing up, and now my grand-children are playing with them. They allow the user to exercise their imagination and creativity (at any age) and provide hours of fun that doesn't have to be plugged in. Good for motor skills and eye and hand co-ordination, also tough, simple, and adaptive.
