This game is not difficult to learn and it is not difficult to play. Younger children with an attention span of 10 or so minutes will easily be able to play this game.
If you are looking for an easy to play game that will entertain a wide range of ages you might enjoy this game. If you are looking for a game that you can talk to others and not concentrate on what is going on in the game, this might be a good game for you to play.
However, our family has found many other games we enjoy over this one. This game is a bit slow paced, too simple and boring for our tastes.
Description of Kings in the Corner Game
Here's a great game for all ages! Kings in the Corner is the classic card game that's royally fun. Use the unique card control centerpiece to keep the game in order. Kings go in the corners. Play the game solitaire fashion laying down cards in alternate colors to try to extend your turn as long as possible. Can't make a single play? You have to pay the pot with one of your game chips. First to empty your hand of cards? You win the pot plus your opponents' point chips for their unplayed cards! The first player to get 100 points (chips) wins the game! 2 to 6 players.Here's a fittingly regal version of the classic card game of royal sequencing, accentuated with a durable plastic folding play tray and scoring chips. Players play cards, in descending order and alternating color, on any exposed card in the tray. The object is to get rid of all the cards in your hand. Haven't got a black queen to play on that red king, or a red seven for that black eight, Your Highness? Well, draw a card from the deck--and toss a chip into the royal treasury while you're at it! Get rid of all your cards and collect the pot--including one chip for every card remaining in opponents' hands. First to 100 wins.
