Jumbo Sequence is fun for 2 or three players. No special skills are required. The larger playing mat makes it easier to see the layout. The game moves quickly, and most matches take less than 30 minutes to play out with two players. Some strategy is helpful, but the luck of the draw is what ultimately matters.
The object of the game is to play the cards that are arranged on the game mat in a vertical, horizontal or diagonal sequence. But watch out! Your opponent may have the one-eyed Jack which can remove any one of your cards on the mat. Continue to play and draw cards until someone makes a sequence. Two-eyed Jacks are wild.
The rules are different depending on the number of playes, so read the instructions.

Jumbo Sequence - take tic-tac-toe, add in a deck of cards, and what do you get? Sequence!!! Just play a card from your hand and place a chip on the corresponding space on the game board. When you have five in a row, it's a Sequence! Learn to block your opponents by either removing their chips or taking the spaces they need through clever playing. But watch out for the jacks -- they're wild! With a little strategy and a touch of luck, you could be a winner! The jumbo version comes with reversible chips, cards, and a 32 x 27 playing mat for playing on the floor or a table top.Jumbo Sequence is a game of strategy played on a colorful, cushioned vinyl playing mat (32 by 27 inches). Each player or team tries to score the required number of five-card sequences before their opponents can. To begin the sequence, a player discards one card and marks that card on the playing mat with a colored crowning chip. The player or team then attempts to mark a sequence of five cards up, down, across, or diagonally on the playing surface. Jumbo Sequence is an easily understood game for two pals or a crowd playing on teams. Includes 104 playing cards and 50 crowning chips in each color: red, blue, and yellow. --Margaret Quinn
