Vmigo is an awesome toy. It works very well.
Starting it up:
So easy to start it up! Just hold down the ? button and you see Vmigo or something on it. It gives you instructions, you put your name & B-day in it, and adopt your first dog!
It's easy to set up the TV.
Place batteries in the thing, plug it into the TV, turn it on, put the ON vmigo in the docking station, and flip through a few channels and find what channel supports it. My TVs (theyre normal big Tvs) are on Video 2. The kitchen TV (it's small) supports Vmigo on another channel. Either 3 or the channel that comes before the number channels. You can also plug the docking station in the DVD player or something I think.
The Vmigo buttons are easy to work. To access stuff in the room, press a and you see icons. Press left control thing and you see new ones. A bed and zs, fireplace, Tv, and stereo. Press the direction on the arrow pad the icon is at. You can also press ? for how to do that. With B you see icons. Go down and you are shown places to go on the screen. Go to the kitchen to feed and the garden to go wee wee. The pups don't have accidents luckilly!
If you get bored, you may leave the Vmigo but when you come back you might have to take it over to the vet if it's been a day. Luckilly it's free! Buy a brush at the store to make quick cash. You could always go into walk mode on the handheld. It's a perdometer! Shake it or clip it on for a walk!

The only problem is that you can't connect a pod to another pod. The person only appears on the friend list.
It is ver fun and easy to see! I highly recommend it!

I bought this for my son for Christmas and he really likes it. Better than getting a real dog, at least for now :)
NOTE - It took a while to get the hang of working the docking station. When we first connected it and turned it on, nothing happened. There's a little LED light that would not come on no matter what we did. I had almost given up on it when my son re-inserted the game into it today and the light came on. Then we played around and figured out that the game had to be powered up and totally in 'play' mode (not just powered up) for it to work correctly. The docking station makes a world of difference, especially for my 40 year old eyes - can't see a thing on that tiny screen!
The instructions that come with it are next to useless (and the company's web site is just as bad), but I've come to expect that when buying fairly cheap items from overseas.

We bought this toy for Christmas. We have tried everything suggested to try to get it to work. The handheld can be played, but we havn't been able to get it to display on the tv. I called the tv manufacturer to make sure I,m on the right channel and that the tv is set up properly. Vmigo comes with a small pamphlet on how to use the handheld (this is good). The other four section paper is full of suggestions on how to get it to work with the tv which includes the numbers for 30 different tv manufacturers. Still can't get it to connect to the tv. We connect three different gaming systems to the same tv with out any problems,one at a time that is. It is very frustrating. I have already make sure that the handheld is in full play mode before inserted into docking system.Customer Review: It's pretty fun but there ARE some 4 Stars
Sometimes, it doesn't save after I've taken the Handheld out of the Console. That, I think is a MAJOR problem. But I like the game and have been playing for over 1 month and I'm enjoying it. Very fun shows kids how to take care of a real dog (except for dressing it up....)! Once, I took it out of the Console, and I started to play it, but NOTHING was right! My points weren't the ones I had earned, and the happiness level was down. That wasn't even what it was BEFORE I put it in! My mom thinks the music is annoying. Sometimes, it will bark and sniff and the screen is blank! All and all it's fun.....Customer Review: It's pretty fun but there ARE some 4 Stars
