This toy NEVER WORKED. We tried several bulbs. I then tried to return the toy and and found that since I had bought it a couple of months before my son's birhtday that I "could not" return it. What a HORRIBLE gift. If you want to buy this, DO NOT BUY it. I had one of these as a kid and loved it, but this version is HORRIBLE. STAY AWAY from it AT ALL COSTS. I have never written a review before, but to all parents, if you want a happy child, do yourself a favor and do not buy this toy. Their customer service is worse than bad and the toy is pitiful.Customer Review: As much fun as it was when I was a kid!

Both my husband and I loved Creepy Crawlers when we were children, so as soon as we saw it we bought it. It's as much fun as I remember, but a lot safer. As kids, we were constantly burning our hands, and this one has some good safety features.
My kids are enjoying it as much as we did. I would recommend you purchase extra trays and goop, as it only comes with 2 trays and we went through most of the goop within the first day! We bought extra trays, and it made it easier for two kids to play with it at the same time.

This product is fun for you and the kid(s). The major dissappointment is that when you open it up and you and your son/daughter who can't wait to start cooking, find out there is no light bulb in there for the oven! So you look at the box again and find in very small print that in doesn't include the 60W small base bulb shaped like a candle. Luckuly, this is common bulb used in dinning room chandelers and is very cheap, but of course you have to put the toy away for a while until someone gets the bulb first. My brother had this toy when we were kids. We loved playing with it back then so I had to get it for my kids when I saw the ads. My 8-year old son has had a great time using the product with little help from me. The light bulb is not included but its easy to find at any local grocery store. The bulb is a style common to chandeliers and easy to find. The instructions were clear and the product creates a fun, creepy crawly bug just as advertised. You can also buy additonal molds and goop in a variety of toy stores.

I bought this toy for my 6 year old son. I'm very happy I read the reviews and purchased the baker rather than the other version of this toy. The toy is easy to use, we've had no messes with the molds. My son learned quickly how long it would take the baker to cool down to release the oven door. One of his favorite parts is being able to create multi-colored bugs, the other is that the bugs will cling to smooth surfaces. This held his attention for 2 hours Christmas morning and he has gone back to it again and again.
