I ain't got the time to tell you how excited my father was to give my son this gift. . .only to find it absolutley uninteresting once you get it plugged in. Don't waste a dime on this thing: you can't see anything; you're stuck in one zoom level; and you have to choose with discretion the things that you want to look at upclose cuz' many aren't even workable because of the static zoom level. This is an overall blek. . .Customer Review: The whole family loves it!

My 6 yr old son got this as a gift, and although I was skeptical at first, I have now eaten my words. It is a breeze to set up, and once you do, the view is great! My son looked at the carpet, and it was really clear and looked like a microscope. We also looked at his hair, my husbands hands, paper, chicken etc. We went crazy!
Anyone that even slightly enjoys science will love this toy.

This is a great toy! My 7 y/o got it for Christmas. We were all fighting over using it. He was begging his Dad to let him have a turn. It is fun, and fascinating to see everything magnified.
I hesitated as this is "another screen toy" using the TV. But, it really keeps them busy for a long time, we were searching all over the house for things to look at.
Highly recommend it...

This was a lot of fun and we really enjoyed hooking it up to a screen - but it had a couple of little parts that eventually got lost, and once they're lost its functionality is quite diminished.
But I recommend it and give it four stars. Kids love to look at bugs and other things close up, and this is a nice, reasonably priced way for them to do so. A very good educational toy.

We ordered the EyeClops Bionic Eye as a Christmas present for our son. He was extremely excited when he opened it and saw what it was. Unlike so many toys that bring huge smiles to their new owners' faces, only to disappoint soon thereafter, our son still loves his EyeClops. This toy brings the curiosity and will to explore of an already curious child to a whole new level. Amazing!!!
