Toys and Games Reviews of EyeClops Bionic Eye Multizoom, GreenCustomer Review: Great educational toy Summary: 5 Stars
This is just a wonderful microscope. It really works great and is not, contrary to what I have read, hard to focus. You are supose to hold it just above the object! not right not the object.
When the kids got this they used it for hours and still do. I even use it. It is a great value for fun and homeschool. It actully has many uses.
You could even use this as a fun way to teach your child to read. Hold it up to a book and find the letter you want your child to find then allow your child to find the letter several times him/her self. What fun!
Using this same concept, your beginner reader will think this is great fun to find words or LOOK at the pictures in HUGE view.
Having purchaced several types of microscopes and always having to adjust the mirror for lighting or focusing was always a problem with young chidren; I have finally found the answer!
Hope you injoy this toy as much as we do.
Customer Review: Not to bad, even for younger kids Summary: 4 Stars
I wish It had more accessories and a book that went along with... Maybe to state facts on the obvious (carpet, skin, hair, etc) for kids to read along with while they discover.. But it didn't and thats okay.
It's been played with but a 6year old, but I'm so afraid that the boys are going to break it or plug it in the Tv them selfs that its put up from time to time.
Im not a fan of the cords, but who is..
It is awesome once plugged in and ACTUALLY does work as shown on TV,The box..etc..
Its Battery life is pretty good considering.. Mostly its a whole shebang of "mom look at this!!! whoooaaa" lol
But its worth it. I think that this is for much older kids as my 6 year old could take or or leave it.
From the parents point of view, I am happy with my purchase. well-made overall (except for the stand...which is awful). Keeps the kid busy, hes learning and doesn't even know it!!
Customer Review: Great tech toy Summary: 5 Stars
After reading about this on the CCFC site (Commission for Commercial Free Childhood) as a GOOD tech toy amongst many others that aren't so good. This toy inspires the curiosity. Between a large screen TV and it's magnification it's a tool for exploration of the small made big. It gave it as a gift to a friend who's like myself and doesn't want stuff, doesn't want plastic toys, and doesn't let her kids watch commercial television. She loves it. She has a 5 and 10 year old and they had friends over the first time they used it, and looked at all sorts of stuff up close. She had them look at their hands, all of them, fingers, nails, knuckles. Then she had them wash their hands, and looked at them again. She said one little boy must have washed his hands another 5 times before he left that day. The power of sight! My son's too young still (1 yr), but I look forward to this toy or one like it when he's older.
Customer Review: Really good magnifier/toy. Then, it broke. Summary: 3 Stars
This is not a toy. It is a pretty good magnifier that kids (or adults) can play with. With this, I can see each strand of fiber in my clothing, the many materials that make up recycled brown bags, and the imperfections I never knew existed in text printed from a printer. Focusing might be tricky at first, but it only requires twisting the white, semi-transparent part of the "eye" and fiddling with the material and how close it is to the camera.
Picture quality is average - you can see things clearly, but some grainy video static is present on the TV screen. Built in are a few LED lights, so the object being magnified can be seen clearly even in low-light situations.
However, the product has suddenly stopped working one day, and there is no image on the screen whatsoever even with fresh batteries. I can only see the LED light working but no signal to the TV.
Customer Review: incredible....toy? ..its a toy?...really? Summary: 5 Stars
the quality on my monitor is incredible with this...
Im an adult, i dont have kids, i found this at a thrift shop..and used my mobile device to check the price...when i saw that the trhift shop price at 3.99 was a STEAL..i bought it..

The quality is INCREDIBLE!
I use it on my high end watches to closely inspect the movement, i use it on firearm parts, only the appearance of a toy is discouraging , but the functionality is ..once again ..INCREDIBLE...and for this price..its awesome..
