Customer Review: Good product that was well-loved until they began breaking

I'll admit that my daughter used these a ton, but we never let her wear them outside. One or both shoes from each pair has broken by now, less than a year after they were purchased. Except for the first pair that broke because she was wearing them when she jumped off the coffee table onto hard floors, each shoe has broken during regular use. The hard plastic base of each shoe broke, rather than the strap over her toes.
I still would say they deserve at least three stars, because she did love them and still wears them (as mismatched pairs, because no original pair is intact). Furthermore, each broke in a way that didn't cause harm because they seem to implode rather than break outward with dangerous shards of broken plastic. None of the broken shoes scratched or hurt her in any way.
All in all, these are a good product as long as you don't expect them to last forever!
