My son was SOOOOO excited to get this toy. He watches the yard workers in our neighborhhod with fascination, and pretends that his stick horse is a weed eater all of the time. I thought this would be a great toy for him! It was, for about an hour, then it quit working. I changed the batteries, it worked for about 10 minutes, then again no power. I deceded to send it back, and we left in on the table overnight. In the morning, it worked again- but only for about half an hour, then it quit. We sent it back- the refund was easy, no hassle- and we ordered a John Deer weed eater. That one has a pull string rather than batteries, but we've been playing with it for a couple of weeks now with no problems. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their money on the Black and Decker.
