I gave it all 5 stars so far, but he hasn't opened it yet. I know that I AM excited. I want to give it to him NOW!!!!
I ordered it based on all the 4-5 star reviews, sounds like a good solid item, the only (2) drawbacks being not enough new "projects" for kids to work on other than the birdhouse (I think?) but if that is IT, hey, I'm (um, I mean HE) is still going to be happy!
The other drawback I have heard is that there is not enough screws, bolts, etc...to make "stuff" - which really ties into the first drawback.
Looking forward to CHRISTMAS DAY (Which at this house - will be December 20th - Christmas Travel, travel, travel!!! Gotta love it.)
I'll post again, after the face of my beautiful almost 4 year old boy lights UP! (It's going to light up, right????)
