Toys and Games Reviews of Ocean Play Center 100" X 77" X 31"Customer Review: This pool has all the bells and whistles Summary: 5 Stars
No matter how small you picture this pool to be, its a little smaller. Which in my opinion is a good thing, unless you are trying to pack a dozen kids in it. However, three or four kids, have a great time. The pool comes with the slide, palm tree, 2 inflatable animals, an inflatable floating coral and some rings to toss. Plug in the house and the pool spouts dozens of four feet high streams of water. If you have an air compressor, set up is quick, and all the parts do fill properly and stand up. It might as well be a water park for all the fun and excitement it generates. We've left it outside in the elements with kids bouncing in and out of it for the past two months, and it's held up.
The only downside is that it my kids never want to get out.
Customer Review: Great Purchase Summary: 5 Stars
My two year old daughter loves this pool! Like others have commented, the slide does not work so hot, but she still loves to climb up and down it and attempt to slide. It is also a good size for mommy to hang out in and the slide makes for a great lounging spot! When hooking up the hose, the sprinkler system around the pool can really get some height on it. We usually turn the hose on very low and just let the water shoot up a little as opposed to full strength. It takes about 10 minutes to inflate with the pump from our air mattress, but we don't even use the pump to deflate. Once you remove the plugs, it comes down pretty quickly and folds up great. Overall for the price, it has been great purchase. I foresee an entire summer of fun with this pool.
Customer Review: Kids loved it! Summary: 4 Stars
My 2 girls, 7 and 5, loved this pool. We had it for a week and it held up great to the kids jumping and flopping all over. I'm sure it would have been used throughout the summer but sadly it was clawed by an animal during the night and it won't maintain the repair. I purchased some bigger repair patches and will try again to fix it. I'm hoping it will hold but not counting on it. I knew it was going to be a one summer use but I wanted to get more than a week out of it. Not the fault of the product but I guess the design drew the attention of some sharp clawed animal.
Update: the repair didn't hold so we bought one of the rectangular pools. So far that's held up for over a month and my girls will play in there for hours.
Customer Review: Great ... if you love crappy, exploding pools Summary: 1 Stars
Had this pool for exactly one week before it a two-foot seam spontaneously ripped open, thus leaving it absolutely destroyed and useless. The sad part is that my son never really even used the actual pool; he just loved the sprinkler part. That means this stinky turd of a product hardly had any wear and tear, save for a fair amount of water pumping through it for that week. In fact, when it exploded, my son was nowhere near the pool. It just ... whooooooosh ... exploded in a tidal wave of water.
Sounds like other people have had good experiences with this pool, and minus the durability issues, it was pretty sweet. Still, I'd steer clear if I were you.
Customer Review: Perfect cool down but a little too big for us Summary: 4 Stars
This pool is a lot of fun. Our son who was 17-19 months in the summer enjoyed the little pool as well as the wading area. The slide didn't slide very well unless there was water running down it. Our son walked rather slide down it with our help. The size of the pool allows for a lot of little people to be in it without a lot of fighting. We didn't use it too much just because we ended up going to the beach or wading pools. Also the size was a little too big for the amount water we used and the size of our yard. I think we'll be Craiglisting this pool for a little smaller pool.
