We bought this pool about three years ago. Since my kids have gotten bigger, the oldest is 6, they have totally abused this pool. Last year, they put their plastic jungle gym against it and they jump off of the slide and use it like a diving board. This year, my kids and the neighbor kids, take a running start and jump into the pool from the side and still use the "diving board" idea. Just yesterday, it sprung a leak, actually a big hole in the seam. We'll try and repair it but at this price, we may just buy a new one. The kids love it, it's easy to get in and out of (for my 4 and 6 year old). The 2 year old hasn't figured how to get into it yet, but I'm worried she'll slip in because the sides are rounded and slippery when wet. A careful and watchful eye is always the best advice for any pool. The pool was easy to pump using a hand pump (my 6 year old and I had done it) and easy to drain and refill (we do this daily).Customer Review: Perfect size !!

This Pool is so much fun. I bought this one last year and I will be buying a new one this year. I's the perfect size, you can have two people laying on two regular size mattress and you can both fit, with a little room to spear. You can play in it and just have fun. The reason why I bought the pool last year was because of its length. It is a long pool 10ft by 6ft. I's just a perfect size. I placed my pool on the lawn and filled it up with water every morning I wanted to use it because I wanted to keep the water clean and in the afternoon the water was warm and ready to get in. It could be a little deeper, but it is not too shallow. The only thing I don't like about the pool is, there is a little drain on the bottom corner and it is so small, it takes forever to drain(2hours), so when I want to drain it, I stand on the sides to let the water out...hehe...and it gives the grass a good watering.... This pool is so cool I would definatly recomand it. The only thing is don't let it be in hail. It will get ruined. Trust Me. I bought this pool with my own money 4 years ago.I am 11 years old now It wasn't very small at all. I was 7 and my best friend was 7 and our babysitter was 17. We all Fit in it and had room to swim. I would definatly recomand this toy to anyone (especially anyone with children ages 4-9) The reason we had to get rid of it was because We had a tornado one night and the pool popped by the hail coming down. We dicided to get a 14'by 40" pool about 1 year ago after the pool popped. The set-up was really easy set and only took about 1hour 30 min.-2hours to set up. The price was really good and super good quality. Also can be used just for cooling off in the summer. Anyone with children, not much money, and needing a pool, GET THIS ONE!!!!!!Thanks hoped I helped you pick out a pool

You cannot use the Derby Duck/chlorine tablets with this pool.
I checked with a major pool supplier in my area and he said that this is TOO STRONG and would not work because without a pump it would not circulate the chlorine. The pool is 120x72x & about 2 ft deep = 1000 gallons. He recommended a small container of "Stablizer Chlorine Powder" and after the first days use, sprinkle 1/4 cup or less & let stay overnite.
However, the water must be replaced once a week.
Do not mess with chemicals unless you are a proffesional.
I also reccomend buying 2 pool covers - one for the bottom to prevent puncture. The good small electric pump will fill it fast.
If you loose one of the 3 chamber caps - a plastic jar cap will suffice.
When storing for the winter - pack carefully.
It lasts about 2-4 yrs and is good enough for 4-6 adults.

This pool is awesome. I found in on sale at a large toy store and was incredibly pleased.Now I can't find that low price but it's still worth any amount! I use a car cover for the top and a mattress pad underneath to keep it clean and make it comfortable.I bought a foot pump from a small boat dealer for $40 and love it. Blows it up in less than 10 minutes of pumping. We don't use clorine at all. I use a cup of active oxygen non-chlorine bleach on the 3rd day and then scoop the water out to use for my landscaping on the 6th when it gets too dirty from the kids. This is far more environmentally friendly and less toxic to the kids too. Saves money on landscape watering too. Plus you and the kids get a good work out.This is a GREAT pool!I ripped the bottom one day after 2 years of heavy use( we live in FL) by leaving it up against our stucco sided house after cleaning it.My bad!
