Toys and Games Reviews of 69" x 69" x 53" Jump-o-Lene Castle BouncerCustomer Review: Great but has weak seams Summary: 3 Stars
We bought this for our son's 4th birthday - he weighs 35 pounds and is an only child (in other words, there are not a ton of other kids in here with him). He absolutely LOVES this castle, and we bought 2 packs of balls so he has 200 balls floating around in there with him. It is a fabulous toy for a kid and will consume many hours and tons of energy. I will say we are disappointed because 2 weeks into it, the large side wall contracted several leaks in the seams and so we have to blow it up several times a day to keep using it. It doesn't seem to be built to last - would love to see a more reinforced version hit the market that can stand the test of time - at least one that lasts more than two weeks with one kid.
Customer Review: Don't waste your time or money Summary: 1 Stars
The bouncer took over an hour to pump up the first time ON AN ELECTRIC PUMP. And on the second day I had it, I discovered that there was a small, impossible to find, leak in the base of the bouncer. So, every time my 2 year old wants to play with it, I have to refill the base with the pump. It's too big for the house but if you leave it outside, it gets all disgusting from the elements. Pumping it up and taking it down every day is impossible unless you have an extra two hours every day (and who has that extra time with a two year old). So for now, it sits, like a white elephant, in my back yard and I keep filling it up every day when my son goes outside. I would return it if I could. Bottom line. I'm sorry I got it.
Customer Review: Let them bounce off the walls! Summary: 4 Stars
For the price (< $40), this bouncer is great for indoor fun for little ones. My 2-year old gets great bouncy fun. My 6-year old bounces some but mainly enjoys tumbling around in it and throwing the balls in and out. It's like a big air mattress with walls...fun bed for a kids' sleep-over, too. Cover it with a big sheet and it's a cool cave. I can't speak to durability outside; we only use it inside on the living room floor. So far, it's holding air. You'll definitely want an electric air pump (like for air matresses)for this. Also, the instructions are sparse. The floor is two different air bladders. The valve location for one is pretty obvious. The valve for the other one is on the bottom side.
Customer Review: Great for little ones' parties! Summary: 5 Stars
We bought this for my daughter's second birthday last year ([...]). We had it in our house for her party and it was a HUGE hit with all of the little kids. I broke it out at our high school reunion (the family portion at a park) and again the kids all went nuts over it. We just celebrated her third birthday and had another party with this set up in the basement....we couldn't get the kids out of the basement for the rest of the activities! Over a year and no problems with durability. I do recommend getting a fast electric pump....we had a portable one for camping that was way too slow and ending up buying a nice electric pump (which is also great for the inflatable swimming pool for the summer).
Customer Review: A ton of fun at a very reasonable price! Summary: 5 Stars
I bought this product for my son's 1st birthday party. I had eight kids under the age of three coming to my house in the middle of winter and needed something to keep them busy. It was a huge hit!! The kids loved it so much many of them didn't want to leave our house when the party was over. Our son didn't really care for it, so I would only recommend it for kids 18 months and older. It fit nicely in our dining room (we removed the table and chairs) which is a fairly small room - but it's wide enough to fit two or three toddlers all at once. For the price it was a great buy and now we have something easy and fun to put outside when the weather gets nice enough or use it inside just as easily.
