I just purchased this little blow-up play-pen for when my 8mo old grandson is visiting. It is a safe place for him to play ( I added a foam gym mat underneath for extra protection) and when he is done playing, he can go right to nap it with the add of a little blanket.
With thanks to the other reviewers to clarifying the age, it was perfect for him at his age & size.
Since it is blow-up, it's easy to store when not in use (but recommend a plug-in type inflater, we used a bicycle pump with adapter and it took a little bit to get it all blown up).
At Approx $14. it's quite a deal.

The inflatable play pen sets up in 15 minutes including inflating with a small electric pump. Nine month-old grandson likes it about half the time. It is sturdy and keeps him in and occupied safely. The sides are very strong and he can easily support himself around the edge - from either the inside or even the outside (if he wants to get in). I will add air for the first time in over a month so it doesn't leak very much. As others have said, it is much bigger than it appears in the advertising. If something happened to it I would buy it again.Customer Review: baby got used to it, but mom liked it!

When we first introduced this "gym", our daughter took a little while getting used to it. It became more of a confined play area for her while we worked inside while keeping an eye on her. She didn't like the idea of being separated from us. But every child is different. She was able to wiggle her way out of it, and didn't find the hanging toys amusing- just in the way. I think if we were to bu0y the balls with it, this toy would be much more enjoyable.

My in-laws bought this for our 22-month-old son. Amazon has the age listed as 17 months to 3 years; and the manufacturer has the age as 17 months and up. THE ACTUAL BOX SAYS for under 18 months!! It would have been a great toy for when he was younger, but now he's WAY too big for this thing.BTW, I was forced by Amazon to rate (with stars) the toy in order to leave this review. Don't pay any attention to the stars, just the write-up. =)
Customer Review: No fun for little ones!!

I have 2 boys, age 3-1/2 and 1 year. I bought this thinking not only would it help to keep my 1 year old busy in one spot, but he could fall and not get hurt. Well, my 1 year old wants NOTHING to do with it and my 3-1/2 year old jumped in and popped the bottom within 30 minutes of having it!! So, now the squeekers on the bottom won't work and there is nothing more to entice my 1 year old...he sits in it and screams. No fun for little ones!!!!
