I got the Quercetti Gears for my grandson who will turn 3 the end of February. This is now his favorite toy. He can put together different layouts of gears and spin them. I gave this toy to my son when he was 2.5 years old, about six months ago. It's one of his favorite toys and we love to play with it. It's great for traveling, it will fit in a suitcase (I separated the different parts in gallon-sized plastic bags).Customer Review: Item looks nothing like what is pictured.

Buyer beware - the item pictured is for an older 52 piece version, NOT the 55 piece version which is being sold here through Amazon. Personally, I find the newer version much less attractive and as such I am returning the item.Customer Review: Cool toy

It's too advanced for our 2 year old to put together, but she liked turning the gears once I had assembled it. And I had fun playing with it! I think we'll put it away for a bit and try again in 6 months, but it's a good toy.Customer Review: great learning toy

I purchased this toy for my three year old daughter. She loves it. The gears come with a base that connect together like a puzzle and the toy teaches kids about motion. This is a toy that both kids and parents can enjoy!
