I bought this for Christmas two years ago for our one, five and two-year old grandchildren. Both my husband and myself can't say enough good things about this toy. Yes, is very durable as it has fallen numerous times and continues to work. Our grandchildren (two boys and one girl) like to play with it all the time. Even my husband likes listening to its sounds. The only drawback is that the doors come off all the time, but can be put back on easily. Do get it, you won't regret it.Customer Review: Lots of fun

This is a cool toy, modern, colorful and fun. My 2 yr. old has played with it constantly since Christmas and loves the moon rover, doggy and astronauts. There are many ways to play with this rocket....note: the bed lifts up to reveal the spaceship's bathroom (our 6 yo nephew figured this out!) We also gave him the roaring rockets book and curious george space ride dvd to go with it to start learning about space. We regularly blast off to the moon and beyond! Fun for all.

I bought this toy for my 3 year old son a year ago at Christmas. By February the doors were falling off. I contacted International Playthings several times for remedy, however, there has been no response. Considering the higher pricetag of International Playthings toys I expected higher quality in the toy and certainly some customer service.
My son still plays with this toy, however, without the doors. It has proven too frustrating for him to put them on constantly.

I read the reviews before purchasing this rocket for my 3 year old because I was afraid it would be too childish for him. It is too childish for him. He played with it for maybe 10 minutes and gave it to his little sister. She on the other hand loved it, she is 21 months old. Ramp door falls off but other than that it is pretty durable. But if you are thinking about getting this for a 3 year old and they are fairly mature think twice. Under that age Im sure they will love it.Customer Review: BIG HIT!!!

My 3 year old son absolutely loves this rocket. It is very heavy and he likes to lift it up when the recording says 3-2-1. One of the doors comes off constantly, but is very easy to put back on. This is his favorite toy that he got for his birthday. The little astronauts, alien and dog and the land rover vehicle are cute. Inside the rocket is a kitchen, Murphy bed that has a potty behind it and a storage hatch for the land rover. Very cool...great for imaginative play!
