I bought it for my nice (2 y.o.), and both her and her 3 y.o. brother love it. We taught them to play together, so that one can set the bowls, and the other throws the ball. By playing they learn how to obey rules, to wait for their turn, they get familiar with numbers, for smaller kids also with animals. Plus they love it as a simple stuffed animals.Customer Review: Pretty good toy

This is a pretty fun toy. I like that my 1 year old and 3 1/2 year old are able to play with it together. There are lots of things to do with the pins and ball, in addition to bowling. My only complaint is that the soft ball isn't heavy enough to knock down the pins when my 1 year old rolls it. She has to use a heavier plastic ball.Customer Review: moderately enjoyed

I had bought this for a baby cousin 2 years ago (when he was about 15 months). He didn't show any interest these cute bowling-pin animals and had preferred to run around rather than bowl. Only recently has he started showing interest in them- but only to throw around. I guess this item is better for more sedate children.Customer Review: Trick ball and cute soft pins

I bought this toy for my son's first birthday. The toy is very soft and each pin makes a slightly different sound when knocked down. My only critique is that the ball does not go straight, but it is fun to see him play with it and it helps to teach him about different animals and hand coordination. I love the colors and patterns in this toy. The pins and ball are all very beautiful. The toy is very durable, easy to set up, and not to bulky to store. My daughter is 17 months and she will play with this for a little while, and she also likes when we set it up and help her roll the ball... it is a very nice toy.
