Toys and Games Reviews of Khet: The Laser GameCustomer Review: A change from chess, but no less challenge Summary: 4 Stars
this game is amazing, there are so many forward and defensive moves that it keeps you entertained and your brain occupied. the instructions lack full answers to gameplay questions, but the board and pieces are high quality, and undoubtedly will last a lifetime. Now if they would put out a case to keep it in!
Customer Review: Khet: The grandkids love it Summary: 5 Stars
My 11 year-old grandson suggested this game for his 7 1/2 year-old cousin. I was concerned that the recommended age level was 9 and up, but I bought it for him anyway, figuring that if he wasn't ready for it yet he'd grow into it. Both he and his 6 year-old brother, both chess players, love it.
Customer Review: It makes you think Summary: 4 Stars
It makes you think really hard - its like chess on crack. Its the new age of chess. I don't like the form fitting box top which required resetting the pieces in a certain way to put away the game, but this probably provides better protection for the mirror surfaces.
Customer Review: Awesome game Summary: 5 Stars
I found this game, and since i liked lasers and stuff, i bought it. Good for teaching kids about light optics and how light reflects. Reflect laser light and try to get it to touch your opponent's "pharaoh". Has an Egyptian theme to it, don't know why.
Customer Review: Twists, Turns and too many variables! Summary: 5 Stars
Khet is one of those games that's easy to learn, but difficult to master. As in many strategy games, too much focus on offense can prove fatal. Unlike chess, the game moves quickly. You don't need hours to play a few games. Highly receommended.
