Toys and Games Reviews of Bazoongi 48" Bouncer

Customer Review: Great product with some quality issues
Summary: 3 Stars

We purchased this trampoline for my 2 yr old son - he is on the autism spectrum and his therapist recommended a trampoline as a good way of getting sensory input. My son absolutely loves this trampoline - every day he jumps on it for atleast 30 minutes - I thought that his enthusiasm would wear off once the novelty wore off, but it's been 5 months now! For the most part,it is well designed - it has a much larger jumping surface than most similar products. In addition, having four "feet" in addition to the handle makes it very sturdy and safe. Be aware that this trampoline has a rather large footprint, so I'd recommend measuring before you purchase to ensure you have adequate space for it. Unfortunately we have run into some quality issues with the trampoline. First, the foam pad that covers the handle cracks and peels off very easily - within two weeks significant chunks were already missing due to what i'd consider normal use. More concerning, is that after 5 months of use, 3 of the springs that connect the jumping surface to the frame have snapped and fallen off. Without these springs supporting the trampoline, it is no longer safe to use. I've contacted the manufacturer and asked for replacement springs - I'm hoping that they will be responsive and we'll be able to repair. It is with some hesitation that I recommend this trampoline.

Customer Review: Great quality trampoline for young kids!
Summary: 4 Stars

This trampoline is made of great quality, like the better made large trampolines Jump King ect... except made smaller for little ones! The handle a terrific idea! Very solid, heavy duty galvanized steel poles, covered with foam. They even have replacement parts! The springs and mat is heavy duty too just like the poles.
It is small though, 4' across, so I wouldn't recommend more than 1 little person at a time jumping on it as suggested. Good way to teach kids to share! Also use outside in soft grass, sand, mulch; or inside only with thick pads 6' around it at least.
It says ages 6 years and up to 110 lbs, but my 220 husband stood on it.
We bought it for our very agile, athletic, 26 month old granddaughter who climbs and jumps on and off everything, including our couches and coffee/end tables! We're trying to teach her not to jump, except on this toy and then only to step off not jump off!
We got her a Step2 Slide/Rockwall for her 2 year BD in Oct. Good addition to that!
They ship fast too! In a sturdy box.
The reason I gave it a 4 stars was because the screw hole for the handle was in the wrong place, so we had to drill ones. No problem, just a little hassle!
Cost more but worth the $$$, as will last longer if well taken care of! Nice to see you can still buy well made toys for the rambunctious ones!

Customer Review: Hours of Fun !!
Summary: 5 Stars

We bought the Bazoongi 48" Bouncer for our granddaughter. She had enjoyed a similar one purchased at a yard sale. It wasn't the quality of the Bazoongi and the bungee cords underneath soon began to let loose. We didn't think it was safe any longer. Now she bounces, twirls, and has invented a kinds of clever fun moves on this little trampoline and she is only 2 1/2 years old! She delights in it and really gives herself a workout too which is so much better than watching T.V. It is made with heavy duty springs (not bungee cords) which will definitely make it safer and long lasting. It fits perfect in the corner of the living room, not taking up too much space but allows her parents to keep an eye on her while she jumps and bounces til her hearts content. The bar helps her to maintain her balance and it indicates that it can hold up to 110 lbs so I suppose older children would enjoy it too. It has given her self confidence, great exercise and has allowed her to expand her capabilities - become a little more self-assured and explore her creativity. All my grandkids will be getting one of these as they get to the appropriate age. Fun! Fun! Fun!

Customer Review: Better than Miles Kimball's Trampoline
Summary: 4 Stars

I sent back the trampoline we ordered for our granddaughter from Miles Kimball. Directions had been translated poorly from Chinese (sentence structure lost its meaning frequently), the print and photos on the directions were faded and a magnifying glass was necessary to read the poorly written instructions, the frame was difficult to assemble, and instead of springs, a bungy cord was employed which had to be woven around the perimeter by Superman and the League of heroes. after 5 plus hours of frustration using a magnifying glass etc. I sent the thing back and ordered the Bazoongi from amazon. Directions were clear and simple. I had it up and ready for use within about 45 minutes of easy assembly. Compared to the bungy cord on the former unit, the springs were easy to attach to the mat and frame. The unit is well constructed and is as safe as any trampoline can be for kids. close supervision is required especially when new friends come over. there are loads of warnings that go around the trampoline, but kids of course can't read. make sure all directions are followed. good product.

Customer Review: Couldn't be happier!
Summary: 5 Stars

If I changed a single thing on this product, it would be the flimsy foam that wraps around the handlebar. I called to replace it and found it was about a $40 piece of foam, but I can buy pipe wrapping foam at my local hardware store for a few bucks. Once my younger child outgrows the desire to bite into it, I'll go that route. We placed this item in our playroom in front of the television (no seating available), so on the occasions that we do pop in a DVD, our kids end up jumping through the film rather than sitting on their duffs. Springs do break occasionally, but the company sells replacements at a reasonable cost. I bought a pack of 20 of them so I am prepared when one does break...maybe every 9 months or so. But I do have four kids age 1-9 so this things gets a lot of (daily!) use at my home, in addition to friends that think it's cool to have a trampoline INSIDE. The handlebar is definitely a plus, too. This was a replacement for a previous model we had that had a bungee-type cord holding the mat on...go for the springs and get one with six legs...this is very sturdy!
