Toys and Games Reviews of Trouble Board GameCustomer Review: Is it over yet? Summary: 3 Stars
I remember liking "Trouble" when I was a kid, now that I'm an adult, it is really boring. I played this with my kids recently, and the game started out "fun", but eventually started to drag on. There isn't much strategy needed, and doesn't require much thought to play. Pop bubble, move out a piece if you can, or see if you can land on your opponents piece. I started to skip good moves just to try and make the game move along faster! We eventually all decided to end the game and move on with life.
Customer Review: Classic for All-Time Summary: 5 Stars
This is a classic game ! I have literally been playing this since 1968-69. First as a child and later with my children. Quick, easy, entertaining and it can be played in a variety of ways so that your kids can win. Also, you never have to refer to the rules during the game - which is a fun de-flator - to figure what to do next. I remember how thrilled I was to get this for Christmas when I was six, and it is still the first game I chose when my daughters brings out the stack of game boxes.
Customer Review: Lots of fun! Summary: 5 Stars
This is a fun game that's easy for little ones to play, too. It's very much like Sorry, except that instead of cards you have a dome with a die inside that you "pop" on your turn. The only problem with the game is that it isn't very sturdy. My husband compared it with the one he played as a little boy and he was disappointed. And you definitely have to keep it picked up, otherwise all the little pegs will get lost. But my kids like it and I don't mind playing it with them.
Customer Review: "Trouble" board game Summary: 4 Stars
This game was recommended by a friend as being a lot of fun and easy to play.
It's built of high quality materials and should last a long time with constant use.
I am using it as a occupational therapy aid device for a stroke victim with limited verbal communications.
At first I thought the "popper" would be a problem but it is working out as a great exerciser for the upper body!
Easy to set up, easy to follow the rules and a LOT of FUN!!
Customer Review: Trouble - Popomatic - Good Family Fun Summary: 4 Stars
Trouble is a classic game - Milton Bradley brings us the classic board game that is fun for the whole family to play.
Four players can play this, my only concern is the popper, I wonder how long it will last, the metal popper is a little flimsy and may break over extended use - we'll see. You can always use some dice as a backup. Game is fun for the family to play.
I purchased this along with Connect Four, good games next to Checkers and Chess.
