Toys and Games Reviews of Trouble Board Game

Customer Review: Now THIS we can play as a family
Summary: 4 Stars

We bought Hi-Ho Cherry-o and Trouble for my son's 4th birthday, and while he enjoys both, Trouble is more fun for the adults to play. My son is old enough to push the pop-o-matic as long as he's perched high enough on his chair.

He's been fantastic about waiting for his turn, and counting out the spaces. In fact, I thought he'd get mad that he couldn't go around the board until he got a "6" but he was amazingly patient! (Keep in mind a player could miss out on the ENTIRE game if they never roll a six.) I'm glad we bought it.

Customer Review: Jane's Scoop
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a great children's board game and lots of family fun! I must confess, we "bend" the rules a little when only two of us are playing.....! This way we get to play "lots" more games!

This board game helps with finger dexterity plus it a great beginner counting game. In addition, it teaches patience. I reccoment this game to parents with children 3 and above.

The design of the game board itself could be improved, needs to be sturdier. The plastic bubble that holds the dice is very sturdy.

Customer Review: Why do toys these days all have to be made like crap?
Summary: 1 Stars

The box was smashed, the popper hardly pops and is totally cheap--in order to get it to pop you practically have to use a sledge-hammer. Certainly my very strong four year old son cannot push the popper down--when one can actually get it to pop, the tactile experience is extrememely unsatisfying and the noise is not pleasant either--more like a 'bang' than a pop. Thoroughly unsatisfying. I would rather pay a few more dollars and get a game that is decently made and comes in a real box that could actually store the toy.

Customer Review: The funnest board game!
Summary: 5 Stars

I have an ancient 1993 version of this game and I am in desperate need of getting a newer one! I play it almost every Sunday night with my mom! The educational value is low because all you do is just move things around, which is fun at points. The durability is so low because the one I have is so old the bottom is made out of paper and is kind of messed up, so the durability is low. I love this game anyway. If you are looking for something fun to play on a Sunday that doesn't take as long as Monopoly, pick up Trouble!

Customer Review: Simple Fun!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this game for my granddaughter on her birthday and I'm glad I did. It is a simple game and easy for children to play. The object is to get all four of your pegs around the board and home before anyone else. Beware however! If someone lands on you back home you go. This game helps children recognize numbers and teaches them to be a good sport.
The dice popper can be a little difficult at times but other than that this is a great game to play together and have some fun with each other.
