Customer Review: GALVATRON!!!!!!

When I first saw this toy I couldn't believe it but he actually looks like Galvatron. I was 7 in 86 so you do the math on how old I am. Galvatron instanly became my favorite Decepticon leader I was never that impressed with megatron as a kid. I liked Starscrem alot more. That is probably why I get every Starscream toy they make. My favorite being the extremly huge one from the Cybertron series. But, I digress. I haven't actually played with it because I am a collector and most of mine are in the boxes they come. So I can't comment on the durability of the toy. My complaint though is why the toy is so small. Galvatron should be a $20 to $40 dollar transformer. Isn't he considered a leader class. I know galvatron is not beloved like Megatron, but come on. But I am glad they didn't do like one reiviewer said and just repaint Megatron purple and say look Galvatron. The only Gavatron I have is from the Cybertron series. What funny about that is it seems as though they got the color schemes back words. The megatron has a purple, orange, teal tint and the galvatron is silver, black and red. Wasn't Megatron silver and black? Like I said I'm glad Galvatron is finally looking like Galvatron, but he should be a bigger transformer in my opinion. Oh I almost forgot as far as him being a tank and not a cannon that really doesn't bother me. I know purist may want a purple cannon with a orange barrel. But a tank to me is far more fitting and just makes more sense. Peace
Description of Transformers Universe Deluxe Figure Galvatron
Universe Deluxe Wave 2: Galvatron appears to support an elaborate array of articulation. Galvatron stocky tank altmode is equipped with a turret-mounted translucent orange cannon complete with an equally translucent missile projectile. In robot mode, Galvatron brandishes his sovereign cannon as an arm-mounted weapon. Arranged beneath a crown-like headpiece, Galvatron red eyes are voraciously inflamed. Salvaged from the battered remains of Megatron, Galvatron was generated by Unicron as an instrument intended to destroy the Matrix of Leadership. Galvatron was provided with heightened power, new warriors, and an imposing warship, although he retained the contempt and defiance that had defined Megatron, and wasted no time in journeying to Cybertron.Action Figures Toys
