Toys and Games Reviews of Transformers Optimus Vs. Megatron Universe Battle

Customer Review: Garbagebots vs Crapticons
Summary: 1 Stars

I've been around since Gen 1, so I know what I'm talking about when I say: This.. set... SUCKS! This shouldn't go for more than 5 bucks. The Prime is sloppy, wobbly, and basically flaccid. Sure, he's got "punching action," but when he's not busy punching, he's twirling his torso like a dainty ballerina. Megatron has this spinning arm action thing, but that arm is not secured to the spinning nub and easily pops off in mid transformation. Buy this if you want to transform them to smithereens with explosives. Otherwise, shell out the extra cash for the just-overpriced Voyager class.

Customer Review: Not for kids
Summary: 2 Stars

I wish toys were built like they were back in the 80's when I was a kid.
Today's toys are cheap plastic pieces of junk. This one was no exception.
Looks good, but once you actually try to play with them... they fall apart.

Megatron's parts started falling off on day 1. Optimus prime soon followed.
Needless to say, it didn't last more than a couple weeks before it ended up in the garbage.

Buy this only if you want them for display or to add to your collection.
Don't buy this for your kids to play with or you'll be disappopinted.

Customer Review: Great for the Transformer Fan!
Summary: 5 Stars

My 6 year old son had seen these and thought they looked really cool. We got them for Christmas (at Amazon's low price of around $10 or so), and these are one of his favorite gifts! They seem more durable than many transformers made now. My son also said (Like another reviewer said) that the Megatron in the package is actually Galvatron (which he says is another form of Megatron or Megatron's brother or something?) These are also not hard for him to transform. I definitely recommend these transformers!

Customer Review: Fun to dink with
Summary: 3 Stars

Megatron from this set sucks. Plain and simple. It's poor craftsmanship. Not durable at all. And he doesnt look very good in either mode. Prime is fun, and for some reason, a little more sturdy. Keep Prime in robot mode, or else you might be very VERY disappointed. In vehicle mode, Prime looks; and is, very wobbly and staright out stupid. All in all, they are good toys to dink around with while watching tv, or if you want to try your hand out at stop motion.

Customer Review: fine if your 4 year old is in MENSA
Summary: 3 Stars

I bought these for my 4.5 year old, and I couldnt even transform them.

they come with instructions for gods sake. when I was a kid and transformers came out you could easily transform them. these are very intricate. my son has NOW figured out how to do it, but it was a very frustrating and annoying week...

he loves the toy, maybe send it with him wrapped to grandparents house!
