Toys and Games Reviews of Transformers Movie Deluxe Class Bumblebee 2008 Camaro

Customer Review: Everyone loves Bumblebee!
Summary: 4 Stars

I've collected pretty much the entire catalogue of Transformers from the 2007 hit movie, and there are some out there that are better. However, what I like about this incarnation of Bumblebee is that it is relatively easy to transform into robot form. Plus, the robot form looks very cool. Going back into automobile form can prove to be challenging, though after a few tries it should become second nature. The biggest drawback are the arm insignias that fall off way too easily. Most smaller children will lose these quite easily. I'm not really quite sure what Bumblebee's weapon is supposed to be, either. Finally, beware price gouging. I believe this item can still be found on the Hasbro website for around $10 plus shipping.

Customer Review: Bumblebee rocks
Summary: 5 Stars

This is a very nice Bumblebee. His robot mode looks quite nice and he comes with a plasma cannon that converts to a blade. He transforms into a yellow 2009 Chevrolet Camaro that sports black racing stripes. I personally love the vehicle mode. You should not pay more than $20 for Bumblebee, his retail price is ten dollars. Though I have not had durability issues the joints seem a little loose and the figure seems rather fragile, so I would not recommend for young or rough children. He looks great on the shelf in both robot and car mode. He has great articulation and can do several poses. He is overall a very nice figure and if you have a choice between 1974 camaro and 2009 camaro definitley pick the 2009 model.

Customer Review: Not a durable toy...Health hazard
Summary: 1 Stars

First off I bought this toy from an AMAZON seller for 5 times what it really cost. That was my fault so I cannot be mad at the "rip-off" that sold it to me. Second and most importantly when I began to change from car to robot small parts fell off and one of the legs broke off. I have a two year old who could have easily put one of the parts in his mouth and chocked. Hasbro has contacted me and asked me to return the item so it can be looked at as far as a Health hazard it may create. I live and learn. Transformers Movie Deluxe Class Bumblebee 2008 Camaro

Customer Review: Fun but not durable
Summary: 3 Stars

I purchased this toy as a Christmas present for my 8-year-old nephew. He was absolutely ecstatic to get it and began enjoying it immediately. It soon became apparent that the transformation is a bit complicated and the main ball-joint that keeps the two main body parts together gives way much too easily. While my nephew had a blast, we had to continually keep rejoining the two halves during each transformation. Although the constant coming apart and the complicated transformation draw away from its other qualities, it is nonetheless a fun toy for a boy who is crazed with cars and Transformers.

Customer Review: For Those Of You Having Problems W/Assembly:YOU TUBE!
Summary: 5 Stars

YOU TUBE is your best source- just type in the name of the transformer in the search box, and there you have it! Probably the easiest instructions (and a good review too) you can get. Nice quality toy, can convert it in less than a minute now, kinda like a simplified rubics cube,(think of it as kind of a cool puzzle). My 4 year old son loves it(although he needs daddy's help to convert it). ALSO DONT PAY ANY MORE THAN $10 FOR THIS TOY!! Patience will be rewarded- right now there out of stock at the Hasbro site but there supposed to back in in march. I found several at the Toys R Us store.
