Customer Review: A MUST BUY

Yes it's a must buy. Best designed transformer ever.
Pros:
1 Perfect bot mode; just like the real one in the movie -- with TWO hands and weapon.
2 Great car mode; I like the style, though you can see those lines @ joints, it's still cool.
3 Very poseble. Yes, from fist to waist, every joint is movable. It's light and the weight is well balanced so that you can pose it pretty easily. Even comparable to Classic Deluxe Mirage (which may be the most poseble TF ever made).
4 Great potential. I'm talking about the dirty things, but this one, like the original G1 ones, will be of a great value after 20 years. It's just a star, a diamond in your TF collections. I personally not even consider to sell it any time though --- but I can see its value.
Cons:
1 Compared to the great DESIGN, the REAL work is somehow bad. The paint is all over the place; the plastic are not well cut. I blame the manufacturer, Hasbro and every buyer, it's the low price of Hasbro, the high demand from the buyers, and the attitude of the manufacturer that altogether led to the rush and bad producing process of the real toy. That's what you can buy for 10 bucks -- why not make it 15 but perfect?
2 Not seem so durable. The desinger obviously put many things in here. So the joints doesn't feel strong enough. You have to be careful playing this. Though nothing's really happening you are always worried.
The good news is, I got it from Walmart, while Target and TRU has not put them on yet. There will be plenty of them and let's get these dirty scalpers out of business.

I have shopped Amazon.com in the past, and have been very happy. Unfortunately, this is not one of those times. I spent hours searching for the Transformer Bumblebee, just to find there are hundreds of versions. I ordered the Movie Deluxe Class 2008 Camaro. The seller was ToyWiz.com, and the price was $49.99. Under product description, it gave no dimensions, and very little helpful information. Buyers' reviews were good though. With tax and shipping it came to $61.85. I was floored when I received it. I went back on-line and searched for the same item, and found it can be purchased for $9.99. And Amazon.com offered it through another buyer at $39.99. Ignorance on my part cost me big time. It doesn't pay to return it either, because ToyWiz doesn't refund the shipping, and there is a 10% restocking fee. If you don't know the exact item you are shopping for, you can really pay big time. And you really have to be careful buying from other vendors through Amazon.com. It was difficult to give the product an honest rating, since it is a gift and has not been opened or played with yet. But I can honestly state: Would I recommend this toy to a friend? - Not at this price!Customer Review: Badly Designed

My son was very excited about getting the "Bumble bee" and had asked for it for some time. The only place I could find it was at Amazon. Quick shipping and the item had arrived.
It looked nice and my son started to play with it. However, once he "transformed" the car into the robot, it was quite difficult to turn it back into the car again; he couldn't do it, his older brother and his mother couldn't figure it out. Typically I end up helping others figure things out, but felt quite helpless turning the robot back into the car. Yes, I finally did it after 5 hours of trial and error. The pieces don't fit together well and it is very easy to turn the wrong way and break small pieces. In any case I will be in quite an agony once my son transforms it back into robot and asks me to turn it back into the car again :-(

This IS a sweet vehicle ( toy ) and much better detailed than the first camaro they came out with earlier. They are becoming avalible at most Toys R Us stores so PLEASE be patient!!! DO NOT pay more than 12.00 for this toy. Online retailers are selling this for up to 70.00 and ToyWiz
don't even have it in stock and they want 50? They are the main rip off
artists when it comes to toys so don't even bother with them when you have
the whole world wide web to check other retailers.
Again a much nicer version than the earlier camaro even though they are different years. Get both if collecting, otherwise, just get the 08 camero and your kids ( or you ) will be very happy with the purchase. Also check hasbro's main site, as they sell their products on there also.

Customer Review: Deluxe Bumblebee is a GREAT transformer

I got the Ultimate Bumblebee for Xmas, and since my son really liked it, I decided to get him (and me) the Deluxe Bumblebee. It is much smaller than the Ultimate BB, but I really like how it transforms from car to autobot. As much as I like the Ultimate BB and the sounds it makes, I think that if Hasbro would make the Ultimate BB more like the Deluxe version, it would be a HUGE seller. The Deluxe version is more slender, more like the Movie Bumblebee. Mind you, I have NO intention of scrapping my Ultimate! The Deluxe is a great toy for a child to play with, and great for a collector to have as well. Some people have complained about the high price to pay to get this, and all I can say is "shop around". I paid a little over $20 for each of them, and it was worth it to me.
