This is the perfect gift for my 6-year-old cousin. He loves playing with it. It transforms into at least three shapes. However, it takes a while before he can transform this big robot by himself. My concern is that he might lose the lock/key to transform it. Other than that, this is a great toy for a young Transformers fan.Customer Review: The monster of all transformers

Primus is the monster of all Transformers. A good 6 inches bigger than leader-class Prime.
Easier to transform than I thought is was going to be. I am not fan of the cybertron key. I thought it was kind of confusing at first.
Primus created the transformers and had evil brother named unicron.

I didn't buy this transformer because of the first review. When my six-year-old did get it, he was at first discouraged, but after working on it for a few hours (completely by himself), he mastered it and quite proud of himself. He can now work it easily and loves it.Customer Review: hours of fun

This was a gift for my 6 year old son. He really loves it and enjoys the challenge of transforming it. He does need some help with it but parts move easily to help him figure it out without breaking it.

I ordered this for my son who is 8. He LOVES it. The transformer is put together very well, nothing comes off when you transform it. It's very large. Great value for the size of the transformer!
