Our 7 year old son received this as a Christmas gift and has hardly put it down in the past 24 hours. (And we thought the video game system we got him would be the big hit this year.) He transforms it back and forth without much effort at all. He did say that it was difficult to get the head to pop up at first, but managed to conquer that on his own too. He's practiced with many other smaller transformers over the past 7 months but I can't imagine this for someone much younger or for someone that doesn't score high on a spacial manipulation test. For him Primus RULES!! And we would much rather see him spend his time doing this than sitting in front of a video game.Customer Review: Great toy! Challenging and entertaining

We decided to get this toy in spite of the bad review we read on this site. We also consulted with a ToysRus employee, who pointed out the fact that this is has the highest level of difficulty.
My son is 5 years old and had been asking for it after seeing it on the Transformers website. He was thrilled on Christmas day when he got it!
It took him less than an hour to figure it out, except for the head though, since you have to use the special "key" the Primus comes with to push it down. After my husband showed him how to use the key, it's been a breeze for him to transform it back and forth. He loves it!
I'd surely and eagerly recommend it.

I purchased this paticular Transformer for my 7 year old brother as a Christmas gift. He absolutely loved it! It is very large, and slightly overwhelming. But, like many of the Transformers nowadays, reading the directions is almost required if you wish to grasp the full potential of your new toy. After reading them once however, you could pretty much do it again without any help. The neatest thing about this Transformer is he requires four other "Cyber Keys" from any other Transformer to unlock his "Cyber Key." So this would not be a good gift for a first time Transformer owner. But the kid loves it, and it was well worth the price.Customer Review: Pretty cool looking but........

don't buy! My [...] year old was dying to get this toy for Christmas & was thrilled when he received it!! We immediately took it out of the package and transformed it from the Primus Figure into the big globe shape (I apologize that I am not more familiar with what the globe is called). We did this once following the directions step-by-step and when we attempted to transform it back into the figure a small piece located next to one shoulder snapped! It is broken, although not beyond use, but I had a crying [...] year old on Christmas who has barely played with this toy since. I would not recommend purchasing the Cybertron Supreme.Customer Review: Quite Impressed!

I purchased this for my 5yr old son for Christmas. He has managed to break almost every other Transformer toy we have purchased for him so we were reluctant to invest the amount of money required to get Primus. We have also become quite frustrated at the difficulty involved in transforming even the $10 toys. So far he loves it! We've transformed it back and forth numerous times and he is quite durable. He moves with ease and after the first couple transformations it becomes a breeze. I anticipate he'll live through my son and many happy adventures!
