Customer Review: Another great likeness for the Clone Wars line
Summary: 5 Stars
From The Clone Wars, the computer animated movie and series on Cartoon Network, this is a great looking Anakin Skywalker figure for your collection. The likeness is excellent. The articulation leaves something to be desired, mainly because the knees do not bend, so this might be an issue for you, particularly if you're buying it for play or specific poses, but the likeness quality still makes it a neat toy to have for display, especially alongside the new Padme figure or Ahsoka, Anakin's Padawan learner. This figure comes with a few accessories too. First, there's the only essential accessory, Anakin's blue-bladed lightsaber. In addition, and these are probably only really of value for those who have play in mind, Anakin comes with an arm mountable blaster cannon that spring-launches a projectile, and also a chord with handles on each side for whatever sort of climbing, dangling, or swinging adventure you might concoct. However, Anakin doesn't hold on to these handles very well. I don't have much issue with him holding his lightsaber and I love that he can do it with both hands, but these rope handles seem to be a bit small for him. Overall, I say this is a nice figure for the collector and probably satisfactory for most kids at play, but some articulation in the knees would have been nice, and I'd like to see more effort paid in general to making sure action figures can hang on to their accessories.
