Customer Review: Pretty cool I guess...

We got this on a whim the other day because I felt so bad for my 4 year old son when he had to get a shot for strep and he was such a trooper about it, I rarely buy any toys for him without reading reviews.
Anyhoo, it's pretty cool I guess -- I was a little disappointed that the whole blade wasn't spring action but now that I saw some reviews about the spring action blade light sabers I am glad this one just has the pop-out spikes at the base (purely for decoration, not dangerous) that so far work great. At least with the telescoping blade if he hits against something too hard it will collapse and won't do too much damage. My son loves to go between good guy and bad guy (red for Sith and green for Jedi) with a quick switch. The sound effects are pretty good too -- if you hit it against something it reacts. All in all a pretty good for a rare impulse purchase -- plus it will go with his halloween costume (if he doesn't change mind before then!)
