I bought this for my 6 year old for Christmas. It is too heavy for him to wear as a helmet. I have a 9 year old as well. It is too heavy for him too. If you are just a collector of Star Wars, you'll love it. But it is to heavy to be used as a toy helmet. Pretty cool though.Customer Review: This helmet is awesome

Our son was Captain Rex for Halloween and loved this helmet. He loves the Clone Wars TV show. The lighted antennae and voice changer are really cool. The headband adjusts easily and it fits our 6 yr old really well. Seems like high quality to us! Highly recommend!Customer Review: Super FUN!

This Helmet is a MUST HAVE for any Star Wars Clone Wars fan! Sound effects are great and it is very durable! My 5 year old son is really enjoying being Captain Rex and I know he will get a lot of use out of this great toy! I highly recommend!Customer Review: Made the boys shout with joy!!!

You have a little assembling to do, but don't let it get to you. The boys 3 and 5 went in to shouting and giggles when they saw the box. Once the helmet was put together, it totally made their little worlds. Very big hugs from both!!!Customer Review: Exciting idea but very difficult to actually play with.

My 5 year old son was very excited about this gift. However, the helmet is very large and clumsy and doesn't fit on anyones head properly. The voice changer is just a microphone. Not very impressive once you get it out of the box.
