Although a 6 to 7 year old can start with "big person" Scrabble by using smaller or easier (more familiar) words, the pictures in Jr. Scrabble do help to make the game more fun. Takes a little patience, but it's worth it for 1st graders.Customer Review: Fun and Educational

We had fun playing this with our 4 year old and 7 year old grandsons over a weekend. The four year old very quickly picked up and played the simpler version, while the seven year old was into the strategy right away!Customer Review: Junior Scrabble

Both sides of the board created challenges for my 4 and 7 year old granddaughters. My only negative feeling is that the game isn't very durable and that the "tiles" are too easily and accidentally moved around.Customer Review: Excellent

My daughter received this game as a gift. We Love It. She wants to play it all the time. It is a great spelling game. She is 6 years old and just started to read and loves to spell. Excellent Game
