The rubik's cube is so much fun! at first, i couldn't solve it at all, though i could get the first side. i used the hints and strategies until i memorized them, and now i can solve the cube in little over 5 minutes! it drives my friends insane because none of them can do it ^o^.
I really suggest that you buy this puzzle, as it can keep you entertained no matter how many times you solve it. also, DO NOT peel off the stickers to fix it!!!!! this kid in my class did it to my first cube, and then it was impossible to solve. and it looked really bad, so i tossed it. it's ok to switch the stickers if you do it for the ENTIRE cube, so it's fixed, but it takes a long time, and it's obvious that you cheated.
P.S. buy a cube with instructions if you need them!

I love my rubiks cube. I'm a first year college student, and I constantly find myself pulling out my cube in class to help me get through the boring lectures. It keeps my hands busy, and my mind in check. It's also a great conversation starter! People are so impressed when they see a solved cube. I see several people have had problems with the stickers, but let me suggest clear nail polish. My stickers started to come off after the first week, but I just peeled the laminate off and painted over them with clear nail polish. Not only does it protect the stickers, but now my cube is "shinier and prettier" than when I first bought it. Let me add that my younger sisters will be recieving their first cubes for Christmas this year. That and a few lessons with The Master.Customer Review: Excelent exercise for problem solvers.

This was my best toy ever. I got it back in the eighties while in the fourth grade. It took me over a month to solve and about six months to master it. I find this toy to be an excelent brain exercise for problem solving and understanding the way particles can move in space. The lessons learned from this game helped me solve other similar games on the first try. Later in life the lessons proved to be invaluable while visualizing mechanical drawings and dynamic mechanics engineering exercises in college. I still have my original Rubik's cube and I encourage all young kids to try it. Even if they don't solve it, it can influence the way they think while building other toys using Lego's and similar games with moving parts. Since 'The Persuit of Happyness' movie hit the screen, this cube is back in popularity. It is a classic toy. I still have one from the 80's group, and it still works. It is extremely durable, sometimes frustrating, but always stimulating.
If you like being challenged, this is a great toy. Not only can you work for the perfect colored cube, but there are other combinations that can tease your brain to try other combinations.
I doubt you will ever regret this purchase -- unless you buy it for a child and are not willing to work with that child to learn. It is basically a logic puzzle, and a good way to help children learn about possibilities.

I have read that for people the stickers have started to come off but I have had this cube for about 5 weeks and have not had a problem. This is great for when your bored or waiting for someone in the car. I spent couple of hours trying to solve this darn thing but couldn't. LOL. Then i went on YouTube and saw some videos and there are actually logarithms that you follow to solve these. They aren't easy to memorize and takes ALOT of practice. When your solving this, make sure that you turn it completely so the cube doesn't get stuck for the next step. Its really fun and I;m sure you wont let go of it until you solved it. I would definitely recommend you to buy this if you have some spare time on your hands.
